This game includes an Adventure Mode and Versus Mode, which are described below, as its primary play modes.

Adventure Mode:
In this mode, you'll follow Tanjiro Kamado through the story from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime starting with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc up through the events of the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train.

Versus Mode:
In this mode, the 24 characters that appear in this game can be freely matched against each other in a 2 vs 2 setting.

<How to use>
① Turn on your Nintendo Switch and select Nintendo eShop on the HOME Menu.
② Once you have launched the Nintendo eShop, select Enter Code on the left side of the screen.
③ Enter the 16-digit download code that can be found on your download card or receipt.

You can check redeemed characters in Character Select.

Character Unlock Keys allow immediate access to play as any applicable characters in Versus mode.
※Even without any Character Unlock Keys, you will be able to unlock and use characters by meeting specific requirements while playing through the game.

These can be spent to unlock rewards within the game.
(16,000 Points equates to being able to unlock 4 characters.)
Aside from unlocking characters, these Points can be exchanged to unlock additional costumes, materials for profile icons for online battles and more.

<How to check Kimetsu Points>
Menu > Rewards
You can check your total amount of Kimetsu Points in the top right corner of Rewards.

Applicable regions:
Users can battle others from around the world.

Applicable platforms:
Users on the same platform will be able to battle against one another.
PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 users will be able to battle against one another, while Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S users will also be able to battle against one another.

In addition, the latest patch is required to access online play along with a paid subscription to your platform's network service.

If streaming, please refrain from sharing the final chapter (Chapter 8) and collectable feature Memory Fragments (All Chapters) and label your stream with a spoiler warning.
The game has licensed music, so we recommend turning off the game's music in the Options menu. On PS4/PS5, the music is disabled when using Share.

No, this game does not support local wireless play.

This game has an autosave feature.
Your progress is automatically saved at various points in the game, such as when you complete parts of the story or after battle.
Please do not turn off your device while the Save or Loading icon is displayed in the bottom left corner.

You cannot create a new file in the game, but you can create a new file by creating a new Nintendo account and switching accounts.

Players: 1~2 people
Online play: 2 people
