The goal of the Closed Network Test is to give players the chance to experience online play with World Matches so that we can improve online multiplayer functionality and identify any problems.
The game version for the network test is still in development, so crashes and other issues may occur.
We appreciate your understanding.

We encourage all participants to fill out the form after the test concludes so that we can create an even better game.

Closed Network Test Terms and Conditions
SEGA CORPORATION ("SEGA") is arranging a Closed Network Test ("CNT") of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds ("Game"). Individuals must read and abide by the terms and conditions ("Terms") stipulated in this document to become a participant of the CNT ("Participant").
1. Conditions for Participation
(a) These Terms outline the conditions for participation in the CNT. The Participant must adhere to these Terms for the duration of the CNT after agreeing. Furthermore, participation in this CNT indicates the Participant's full understanding and consent to the Terms.
(b) The Participant must download and install the necessary software ("Software") in order to take part in the CNT. The Participant must agree to the Terms before downloading and installing the Software.
(c) The Participant shall be granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to the Software solely for use during the CNT. It shall not be used for any other purpose.
(d) The Participant shall be required to agree to the Terms in order to take part in the CNT. If the Participant is a minor, the Terms cannot be agreed to without the consent of a legal representative (parent, guardian, etc.). If the Participant does not accept and agree to these Terms, all rights to participate in the CNT shall be relinquished.
(e) SEGA reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms without the prior consent of the Participant. Unless otherwise specified, any changes to the Terms shall be published on SEGA's official website ("Website") (URL: https://asia.sega.com/SonicRacingCrossWorlds/en/ ), or through another appropriate method to make known important details, including but not limited to the content of the revisions and the effective date of the changes.
(f) The Participant shall visit the Website regularly to check for any published content and changes to the Terms. SEGA shall incur no liablility for damages of any kind due to the Participant's failure to read the Terms, including any amended versions, and any other content published on the Website.
(g) Participation is limited to individuals who have accepted and agreed to the Terms, fulfill all of the below requirements, and are selected by SEGA. Individuals who fail to meet all of these requirements have no right to participate in the CNT.
i) Must be willing to complete our survey while the CNT is underway.
ii) Must reside in the countries or regions specified by SEGA.
iii) Must own an account for the third-party service specified by SEGA.
iv) Must possess an internet connection and a device that meets the system requirements.
v) Must possess an email address that can be reliably checked.
vi) Must be willing to cover the cost of the wi-fi service used during the CNT (the CNT itself is free).
vii) Must be willing to actively participate in the CNT.
viii) Must be willing to share information about the internet connection and PC used during the CNT if specified by SEGA.
2. The CNT and the Incomplete Nature of the Software
(a) The CNT is a reliability demonstration test of the online services and features of the Game, currently under development, which shall be made available in countries determined by SEGA. The main purpose of the CNT is to collect data and feedback which shall be used to refine services and develop a final version of the Game..
(b) The Software that the Participant shall receive is still under development, and there is a high likelihood of bugs, defects, or errors causing the Game to malfunction. The Participant is responsible for putting safeguards in place, including but not limited to selecting a device to install the Software on and backing up the device before the installation of the Software.
3. Information Regarding the CNT and Suggestions from the Participant
(a) The information from the CNT and the Software and any and all associated copyrights, trademarks, intellectual properties therein and/or related thereto are owned by SEGA or an authorized third party. Outside of personal use, the information provided through this CNT shall not be reproduced, published, or used in any other way without the prior and explicit permission of SEGA or a third party holding the rights to the Game. However, broadcasting or uploading footage is permitted as long as it is done directly through the features available on the device on which the Software is played.
(b) SEGA holds the free and non-exclusive right to reproduce and distribute any information about the CNT that the Participant shares in writing or through other means. Should the Participant submit a suggestion concerning products or marketing, SEGA and other companies in the SEGA Group may evaluate, review, or adopt their proposal without keeping the idea confidential or offering compensation.
4. CNT Participation
(a) During the duration of the CNT, the Participant must comply with all guidelines set by SEGA. The period in which the CNT shall take place will be determined by SEGA.
(b) In order to participate in the CNT, the Participant must use the Software provided by SEGA and connect to the specified server ("Server") via the Internet. The Server's hours of operation may be designated or altered at SEGA's discretion.
(c) The Participant shall be responsible for any and all incurred fees when connecting to the Server, including but not limited to the cost of the telecommunications equipment, telephone charges, initial network setup, internet signup and access.
(d) In addition to the Software, the Participant may be required to download and install updates separately to take part in the CNT. In such cases, all provisions laid out in these Terms shall still be upheld.
5. Personal Information of the Participant
In the event that the Participant's personal information must be collected during the operation of the CNT, it will be carried out strictly in accordance with SEGA's Privacy Policy.
6. Account Management
(a) The Participant shall not give a third party access to the account used to participate in the CNT. Additionally, the Participant shall be held liable for the management and use of the account.
(b) Pursuant to paragraph (a) of this article, SEGA shall not be liable for any damages the Participant incurs due to a third party's use of the account, except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence by SEGA.
(c) Participation in the CNT via an account managed by the Participant, including any outcomes arising from it, shall be borne solely by the Participant.
7. Misconduct and Unauthorized Acts
(a) During the CNT, the Participant shall not engage in any of the following acts ("Misconduct").
i) Falsifying or creating online item data without authorization.
ii) Commit any act other than those intended and permitted in online play.
iii) Intentionally changing the content, progression, or structure of the online game, including, but not limited to altering its mechanics and storyline, during participation in the CNT.
iv) Impersonating a SEGA employee or customer support representative.
(b) Individuals, whether the Participant or otherwise, are not permitted to distribute any program or data that enables Misconduct among other CNT participants or third parties.
(c) The Participant shall not exploit any issues found in the CNT's Software or Server to gain an unfair advantage.
(d) The Participant shall not, intentionally or otherwise, attempt to alter, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, analyze, or adapt any messages or data to and from the Server or the Software.
8. Prohibited Conduct
The following acts are prohibited during the CNT.
i) Acts that might be labeled as obscene, discriminatory, or vulgar by nature.
ii) Acts that qualify as crimes, or have the potential to lead to crime.
iii) Acts that infringe upon the rights of other participants or third parties (including but not limited to damaging reputation or violating privacy, copyrights, etc).
iv) Acts related to business activities (including but not limited to solicitation), pre-election campaigning and other such political activities, and religious activities, including any recruiting for religious organizations.
v) Acts that violate or may pose a risk of violating any regulations (including laws, treaties, ordinances, officially binding agreements for the Participant, and other directives), related rules, and other guidelines established by SEGA.
vi) Acts that interfere or may pose a risk of interfering with the operation of the CNT, including the management of the CNT and any included community features.
vii) Tampering with the Software, the storage location of the Software on the PC, or any information transmitted across networks.
viii) Account misuse, as well as disclosing, leaking, transferring, reselling, or loaning the account to a third party.
ix) Using the Software or the CNT for purposes other than intended by SEGA.
x) Violating any provisions within these Terms.
xi) Falsifying all or part of the information provided during the CNT.
xii) Accessing SEGA's facilities and viewing, duplicating, or altering any part of SEGA's data without authorization.
xiii) Instigating other participants to indulge in gambling and other similar acts.
xiv) Fundraising, soliciting contributions, advocating for charity, or any other act that involves the exchange of money and goods or has the purpose of financial gain.
xv) Attempting to collect information concerning other participants.
xvi) Falsely reporting account registration details.
xvii) Sending harmful messages, data, or computer programs to SEGA, other participants, and/or third parties.
xviii) Other acts that are deemed, at the discretion of SEGA, to be inappropriate or harmful.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
(a) The CNT is not compatible with every environment. As such, SEGA cannot guarantee that the Participant shall have access to the CNT.
(b) The CNT is a reliability demonstration test and, by its nature, may include defects in accuracy, integrity, usefulness, reliability, safety, and other areas. Therefore, SEGA disclaims all warranties with respect to the CNT, including, but not limited to accuracy, integrity, usefulness, reliability, and safety.
10. Save Data
(a) SEGA makes no warranty that the Participant's online records ("Save Data") will be saved or retrieved without issue.
(b) SEGA reserves the right to alter or delete the Participant's Save Data without notification should it be deemed necessary for the reliability demonstration testing of the CNT.
11. CNT Suspension and Termination
(a) SEGA may temporarily suspend the CNT without notifying the Participant if deemed necessary for inspection or other forms of verification.
(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of article 4, paragraph (a) of these Terms, SEGA reserves the full right to terminate the CNT for any reason without notifying the Participant.
(c) In accordance with the preceeding paragraphs in this article, SEGA shall not be liable for any loss or damages incurred by the Participant if the CNT is delayed, canceled, or terminated.
12. Notifications and Communications
(a) Notifications, communication, and support for the CNT and the Software shall only be available in English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.
(b) The CNT and the Software shall only be made available in designated countries and regions at SEGA's discretion.
(c) Should SEGA deem it necessary to notify or contact the Participant, it shall be done via announcements on the Website, direct message, or email. If the Participant wishes to change any registered information, the Participant shall promptly notify SEGA using the specified method.
(d) The Participant should periodically check the Website, direct messages, and emails for notifications and communication from SEGA.
(e) The Participant shall only contact SEGA directly via the form on the Website. The Participant shall refrain from contacting SEGA via inquiries, phone, or direct visit.
13. Limitation of Liability
(a) SEGA is not obligated to provide compensation for any damages incurred by the Participant from engaging in the CNT or use of the Software, except in cases where, after taking into account the incomplete nature of the Software and the Server, SEGA is found to have exhibited negligence.
(b) Even in the event SEGA is found liable for damages, the scope of the damages shall be limited to direct and actual damages incurred by the Participant as a result of the Participant's use of the Software or participation in the CNT. SEGA shall not be liable for damages resulting from special circumstances, lost profits, indirect damages, or any other damages, regardless of whether or not SEGA anticipates such damages. However, this
shall not apply in the case of intentional or gross negligence on SEGA's part.
14. Measures Against Violations
If the Participant violates one of the provisions laid out in these Terms, SEGA can exercise its right to prohibit the Participant from taking part in the CNT. In such cases, the Participant is required to delete all components of the Software.
15. Miscellaneous
(a) These Terms and their validity, effectiveness, interpretation, and execution shall be governed in all respects by the laws and regulations of Japan. All matters not stipulated herein shall be determined by Japan's copyright laws, civil laws, business laws, and other pertinent laws and regulations.
(b) Even in cases where a part of these Terms is deemed ineffective by mandatory provisions of consumer protection laws or other statutes, the parts herein that do not conflict with the provisions shall remain in effect to their maximum extent.
(c) Any dispute between the Participant and SEGA relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court as the court of first instance.
