June 14, 2024 – SEGA has revealed that Axel, the main character of the Crazy Taxi series, will appear as a playable character in Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, which will be coming to Nintendo Switch™. To unlock him, players will need to pick up the SEGA Pass DLC.

The SEGA Pass DLC, available through the Digital Deluxe Edition or as a separate purchase, will feature 6 new playable characters and 15 SEGA-themed Style Items. Each playable character on the SEGA Pass can also be bought individually.

Enjoy playing as Axel in either Adventure Mode or Battle Mode! As Axel, you'll be picking up Coins instead of Bananas!
