First free content update, "Sights, Sounds, and Speed Content Update", out now!
The first, massive free content update for Sonic Frontiers, the "Sights, Sounds, and Speed Content Update", is now live!
This update is packed with new stuff, including the Juke Box and Photo Mode.
Make sure to check it out!

Juke Box
Allows players to freely change the background music playing in the overworld. The track lineup can be increased by collecting Sound Memories hidden across the islands, for a total of 53 tracks.

Photo Mode
Photo Mode can be accessed from the Pause Menu. Activating it will hide all of the in-game UI and allow players to freely control the camera's position and apply filters.

Cyber Space Challenge
This is a separate game mode that can be chosen at the title screen. Here, players can play Cyber Space Stages back-to-back. Enjoy some classic speedrunning and aim for a top score! Some challenges have players go through all of an island's Cyber Space Stages in a row, and one even has players go through every Stage in the game! Each stage's challenges have conditions for unlocking them.

Battle Rush
This is a separate game mode that can be chosen at the title screen. Players can fight in timed battles against each island's enemies, guardians, and Titans.
Sonic's overall strength (skills and stats) in each save file will be reflected in the battles, and content in Battle Rush can be unlocked by fulfilling certain conditions.

*Cyber Space Challenge and Battle Rush can be accessed after beating the main story.

"Extreme" Difficulty
The "Extreme" difficulty level can be unlocked in the main story by fulfilling certain conditions. At this level, all elements of the game are set to the highest difficulty, allowing players to enjoy a challenging adventure fraught with peril. See if you can figure out how to unlock it!

Cyber Space Power Boosts
You can use Power Boosts in Cyber Space by fulfilling certain conditions. This feature can be toggled on/off in the settings.

The mysterious Koco inhabiting the Starfall Islands can have their appearances swapped to a springtime theme. This can be done by going to "Extras" from the title menu.

Other Additional Features
After receiving feedback from Sonic Frontiers players, we have made the following adjustments:
  • ・The Starfall Slot Machine can now be toggled on/off
  • ・The animation for Power Boosts can now be toggled on/off
  • ・A restart command has been added to Cyber Space
